Do I have to join the NAR (National Association of Rocketry)?

NAR membership is not mandatory. However, we strongly encourage joining NAR! Not only do you get a magazine subscription, but very importantly, a $2 Million insurance policy covering your rocketry activities. Check www.nar.org  for all the details and benefits.

Keep in mind, that our section insurance does not cover your rocket activity, only our section liability.  Your membership in the NAR provides a valuable backup for you provided that you abide by all of the NAR safety codes and membership rules .
