Upcoming R.O.C.K. Flying Events - 2009

• January Launch Event - Parachute duration.
  The January launch will feature a Parachute Duration contest for rockets using a B motor.  Rockets will be timed from first motion to touchdown and the longest time wins (best of three flights).

• February Launch Event -- Build and fly the ROCK rocket.
  Actually you can pick any club logo with a rocket and build it.  Judging done on best reproduction, construction and finish, and flight stability/performance.

• March Launch Event - Egg Loft Duration.
  The purpose of this competition is to launch and recover your egg without damage.  Rockets will be timed from first motion to touchdown and the person who makes the longest flight with no damage to the payload wins.

• April Launch Event - Helicopter Duration.
  The purpose of this competition is to achieve the longest flight duration using an autorotating recovery system.

• May Launch Event -- Boost Glider Duration.
  The purpose of this months competition is to launch and achieve the longest flight duration time.

• June Launch Event -- Spot Landing (Streamer)
  The purpose of the Spot Landing Event is to land your rocket closest to a predetermined spot on the ground. Your rocket must deploy its streamer fully before touching the ground.  No practice flights may be made.
