For many years, ROCK has held a monthly model rocket launch at the trailhead in the Little Big Econ State Forest. We are appreciative of the many years of support we received from the Florida Forestry Service and we understand the reasons for their recent decision to no longer allow us to use the site for our model rocketry club's activities.
We are beginning an active search for a new site to support our launches and welcome any help from the community so that we can continue to provide a safe and legal place for rocketry hobbyists to launch their rockets and to continue to promote and support STEM activities with schools and other youth groups.
