Welcome to ROCK! ROCK is an Orlando-based model rocket club which encourages children and adults to embrace the exciting, fun, safe, and educational hobby of sport rocketry. The "Kids" in our name refers to "children of all ages" (kids and adults) who enjoy building and flying model rockets. Whether you are new to the hobby or have been flying rockets for years, we invite you to join us on the first Saturday of each month at the Barr Street entrance to the Little Econ State Forest in Oviedo, Florida [directions]. Our club provides launch pads and controllers. Bring your own rockets, motors, and other launch supplies as well as a folding chair, water to drink, and snacks. ROCK also helps youth groups such as Scouts with rocketry activities and students participating in the National Association of Rocketry's Team America Rocketry Challenge.
